Even if we love our job, sometimes the job becomes #boring and #uninteresting for us and we do wish it to be more fun and easier than it is. We want our work to be done quickly so that we don’t have the burden of pending work and can take out# time for the things we actually love doing.
Here are some tips to make your workday more easy
DO NOT #PLAN AND #STRESS ON DOING TOO MUCH
We often see people adding double the work they can actually do in a day, in their to do list. This leads to stress and overwork. You should always try and complete first the necessary tasks and tasks that can be completed easily by you be it a complex or a non-complex one. Don’t over push yourself when you don’t feel okay.
#FOCUS ON ONE TASK AT A TIME
Handling too many things at a single time may lead to confusion and stress. This will lead to you not being satisfied with your work as you may feel you haven’t given your hundred percent in a particular work. Therefore, divide your time accordingly and allot the necessary time period for each task. Handle one work at a time with specific deadlines for yourself.
TAKE NECESSARY #BREAKS
Keep short breaks in between your tasks in order to stay fresh. This helps you stay energized during your work hours. Work for the desired time period you want to, stay focused but when you decide to take a break make sure you do something that is not related to your work.
START WITH THE TASKS THAT LEAST #INTEREST YOU
Completing the tasks that least interest you and completing them at the start of the day will help you stay relaxed the rest of the day. You won\’t be worried about those tasks all day and will be able to complete your other tasks smoothly. Also, you won’t waste your mental energy all day thinking about this challenging thing you have to do.
STOP #WORKING WHEN YOU DON’T FEEL OKAY
Forcing oneself to work hard when you\’re not at your best is perhaps one of the most difficult things to do at work. Put off that task and do something more suited to your mental capabilities, unless you have an approaching deadline and can\’t wait any longer.
#LEARN TO SAY ‘NO’
Consider saying \”no\” to new requests more frequently, in addition to removing something from your plate. Obviously, you can\’t do this all the time to get out of work, but if you\’re feeling overwhelmed or have a request for anything unrelated to your job, and you don’t have the energy to do so, learn to say no.
