ABOUT BHRIGU ARORA

Bhrigu was born and raised in Yamunanagar, Haryana, and currently lives in New Delhi. He pursued BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kurukshetra University. He is an Electrical & Electronics Engineer by profession. He considers Sri Sri Ravi Shankar his role model. He was a very active volunteer in the program- The Art of Living. It helped him a lot. It taught him how to talk to people, and how to work in a team to achieve the same goal.

IDEA GENERATION

He enjoyed playing and learning guitar, but living in a small town meant that he didn\’t have access to professional-quality instruments. As a result, he had to purchase new instruments regularly, which was a costly endeavor.

He had a strong interest in technical subjects and spent a lot of time watching online videos about them. One day, while browsing the internet, he stumbled upon a video about how to make a guitar cable. Intrigued by the process, he decided to give it a try. He gathered the necessary materials and followed the steps in the video, finding the process relatively simple. The resulting cable lasted for a year and a half.

He enjoyed watching technical videos on the internet and came across a tutorial on how to make a guitar cable. He tried it out, found it easy, and made a high-quality cable that lasted for a year and a half.

His friend borrowed the cable from him, and soon the word spread by word of mouth. While he enjoyed playing guitar, he was even more fascinated by the instrument\’s structural and engineering aspects. He was less interested in simply learning how to play songs and more interested in understanding how the guitar worked.

In 2017, due to increasing demand, he gave his handmade guitar cable venture a name, marking the transition from a hobbyist to an entrepreneur committed to providing high-quality products to musicians and guitar enthusiasts.

PROGRESS

Bhrigu analyzed the market through social media, taking note of what musicians wanted beyond guitar cables, such as pedalboards and bags. He wanted to challenge the prevailing mindset that products must be imported from the US by showcasing what could be done in India.

By monitoring social media and gathering data on customer inquiries, such as \”Do you have this or that,\” he was able to add products to his line. For example, when people started asking for travelling cases, he brought in a bag line.

WHAT BHRIGU HAS TO SAY?

One of the keys to success is being a good student and a good learner. If you are starting in a new field and you come across someone who has already been in the same field for 4-5 years and has excelled, don\’t hesitate to seek their help. Reach out, talk to people, and take help without feeling embarrassed or ashamed. In today\’s world, it\’s essential to be smart and resourceful, and learning from those who are smarter than you can accelerate your growth.

Additionally, it\’s crucial to have compassion for those who are less experienced or knowledgeable than you. Instead of judging them, extend a helping hand to them.
